pandemic that shut down auto and most other industries
worldwide.
Then it was semiconductor chips - and still is. Did you know that cars can have as many as 100 chips in them? They control touchscreens, safety monitoring features, engine performance - pretty much everything.
Between the shut down and increased demand for appliances and electronics, semiconductor manufacturers couldn’t keep up. And it’s a condition expected to last a few more months. Fortunately, Kia’s global reach is putting us at the forefront of re-supply. So, even if we don’t have the specific model and color you want, chances are good that it’s on the way shortly.
