Classic Toyota and Heart of the City Give Teens a Chance to Explore the Automotive Business!

Here at Classic, nothing means more to us than our community! We love living in Lake County, and exploring all of the incredible places around us, and meeting all the wonderful people in our neighborhood! Getting to know our customers year in and year out has been an absolute pleasure. The only thing we love even more than connecting with our local customers is inspiring the youth! Helping kids and teens to find their passion, answer their burning questions, and inspire them to pursue their dreams is one of the most rewarding things we could do! It’s true that children are our future, and that’s why we believe in nurturing their curiosity, ingenuity, and wild spirits.

Recently, Bill and the service team here at Classic Toyota were able to connect with a group of local high school students through “Heart of the City”. The students were able to get an up-close look at the goings on in our service center, and a behind the scenes look at what it’s like to be a professional mechanic as well as what it takes to run and maintain a dealership. We were so excited to learn from their program coordinator that one of the students made a big decision in his educational career based on what he learned from this visit! It warms our hearts to know we were able to inspire someone to prepare for their future, and it brings a great big smile to our faces knowing the young folks love cars as much as we do. If you can make just a small difference in this world, there’s nothing better than bringing light to the lives of children and teens.
