The 2015 Kia Forte Provides a Great Value to Chicagoland

There are three possible engine options for the new Kia car. Sedans come standard with a 1.8L four-cylinder engine that produces 145 hp and 130 lb-ft of torque. This is the most efficient choice and will be great for commuting. Sedans can also be upgraded to a bigger 2.0L four-cylinder engine that produces 173 hp and 154 lb-ft of torque; this engine is standard for the coupe and hatchback.

The latter two body styles can also get a turbo 1.6L four-cylinder engine that pushes power to 201 hp and 195 lb-ft of torque. These models can go from zero to 60 mph in only seven seconds, which is very quick for a compact.

Sedans start out at the LX trim, which has features like Bluetooth connectivity for access to phone and audio features, USB access, and an auxiliary audio jack. At the EX level, (the second trim for the sedan and first for coupes and hatchbacks) there are many more features like keyless entry, a cooled glovebox, a six-speaker audio system, and leather-wrapped steering wheel.

SX models are the sportiest of the bunch with the fastest engine, bigger wheels, and sportier styling. There are many other features available like heated seats, navigation, and leather upholstery.
