Women’s Equality day is celebrated in commemoration of the 19th Amendment to the US Constitution, which awarded women the right to vote in 1878. In 1971, Congress deemed August 26th would be henceforth Women’s Equality Day. Community matters to us here at Classic Kia, and we’re proud to be part of the Kia America family, especially A few days ago, on August 16th, Kia America announced that $150,000 in donations will be made to the American Red Cross and Hawaii Community Foundation to help with relief and response efforts for the devastating wildfires in Hawaii. The American Red Cross will receive $100,000 and Hawaii Community Foundation will receive $50,000.
