2016 Kia Optima and Kia Sedona Named Top Family Cars

Our Classic Kia car dealership is extremely proud to report on some great news regarding our favorite new Kia cars. Kelley Blue Book recently published their list of 16 Best Family Cars of 2016. Two great Kia cars made the list: the 2016 Kia Optima and the 2016 Kia Sedona.

Kelley Blue Book is recognizing the diverse needs of a modern family in their latest list. Their exhaustive process involved considering safety, cost, and comfort. After identifying their top picks, the team extensively tested each vehicle for two weeks and narrowed the choices to 16, also subdividing them into categories.

Under Sedans figures the 2016 Kia Optima, which is also Kelley Blue Book’s Midsize Sedan Best Buy of 2016. The experts call it “refined, advanced, and rewarding to drive.” Among its quality features, they tout a stylish look and seven airbags along a backup camera and hill start assist. On the inside, its spacious interior goes a long way in making its passengers feel comfortable. Quality features like 10-speaker premium audio, an 8-inch HD display with with navigation are some examples of what it offers.

As for the Minivan category, the 2016 Kia Sedona triumphs thanks to great value and high-tech features. With eight–passenger capacity and a very useful all-around camera, the Sedona has great driving dynamics and a stylish interior. While up to eight people can comfortably fit in, the second row can completely recline their chairs if they so desire. Overall, it’s a quiet minivan with a dashboard similar to an SUV. A navigation system, lots of USB ports, Bluetooth streaming, and safety technology like lane guidance round out its impressive list.
