2016 Soul

There’s an easy way to keep it cool this summer. A particularly stylish selection for urban drivers, the 2016 Kia Soul, breathes new life into the daily commute. Classic Kia is happy to highlight one of our favorite Kia cars, especially since Kelley Blue Book just ranked the coolest cars on a new list.

The online resource for car knowledge regularly runs the “10 Coolest Cars Under $18,000,” and this is the fifth year the Kia Soul made the list. Judging the vehicle on its exterior styling, a large content package, and attractive pricing, it’s easy to see why it consistently scores in the top ten.

“The Soul’s future-industrial design still turns heads, but that’s only part of its cool quotient,” Kelley Blue Book wrote on its website. “A low starting price, impressive standard equipment and yes-I-can cargo versatility make it as smart as it is stylish.”

What’s so great about the 2016 Kia Soul? At the base, it’s equipped with a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine with 130 horsepower and 118 lb-ft. of torque. For those who want more out of their engine, the Soul+ and Soul! offer an upgraded 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine which goes up to 164 horsepower and 151 lb-ft. of torque. On the inside, its spacious interior offers lots of headroom for the front passengers and a good amount of legroom for companions in the back. Even the base model contains a large assortment of practical features, like 60/40-split folding rear seatbacks, Bluetooth, and a six-speaker audio system with satellite radio. There’s an upgrade possibility for automatic headlights, touchscreen controls, and a rearview camera.

Among our inventory of pre-owned Kia cars, this is a very attractive position given how much it offers at this price.

Kelley Blue Book is an extremely valuable resource for highlighting great cars, and we’re very happy to see the Kia Soul make the list once again. Want to find out what else is cool at Classic Kia? Don’t hesitate to visit our Kia car dealership near Chicago, IL.
