Kia Releases Early Details for the 2016 Kia Sedona

Changes are not drastic coming one year after a redesign, but there are some upgrades that may make you more interested in the 2016 Kia minivan if you weren’t sure about the 2015 model. Here’s a rundown of the changes:

Standard Rearview Camera: All models will now come with a standard rearview camera, which is still a luxury item on many models. This makes it a lot easier and safer to back up a large vehicle like a minivan.
Cloth Upholstery: Kia has switched to a new tricot cloth seat for the 2016 Kia Sedona L and 2016 Kia Sedona LX. This is tougher than the previous knit fabric and more resistant to runs and tearing.
Heated Front Seats: These are now standard at the 2016 Kia Sedona EX level. During a cold Gurnee, you are definitely going to want this feature.
Eight-Passenger Seating Option: The 2016 Kia Sedona fits seven people normally, but now the 2016 Kia Sedona SX and 2016 Kia Sedona SXL can be upgraded to an eight-passenger configuration if so desired.
Performance: Kia has confirmed the 3.3L V6 will return for the next model. It’s capable of pushing out a fast 276 hp and 248 lb-ft of torque allowing the minivan to go from zero to 60 mph in a quick 7.9 seconds.
