July Community Calendar of Events for Lake County and Waukegan Area

Welcome to another fun edition of Classic’s Community Calendar where we highlight a delightful array of events happening in the Lake County and local Waukegan communities. We’ve got a great roundup this month of outdoor events, live music, family days, and festivals for you to enjoy your summer to the max. Every Wednesday through September 27th, head over to the downtown Village Center in Grayslake from 3PM through 7PM for the Grayslake Farmers Market.

The Libertyville Farmers Market is returning now through October 19th from 7AM to 1PM on select days! Check out the full schedule and participating vendors and special events here.

The Lake Bluff Farmers Market is open from Friday 7AM to 12PM now through October 13th.

The Fox Lake Farmers Market is back from Tuesday July 11th through Tuesday August 29th, 3Pm to 7PM.

Mundeleins Summer Concerts in the Park Series is back for another fantastic year! Live music will be available on July 9th, July 16th, July 23rd, July 30th, August 6th, August 13th and August 20th. This takes place Sunday evenings from 5Pm to 6:30PM at Kracklauer Park

The Mundelein Community Days Festival takes place today through July 4th! Featuring a special Kid Zone with live performances, dance, and activities for all ages, Fire Engine Rides, a Carnival, and Live music at the Village Hall Plaza.

Libertyville’s Dog Days of Summer event takes place on Saturday July 8th and Sunday July 9th at Cook Memorial Park. Dog-related vendors and special activities all day long! Plus, police K-9 demonstrations, pet costume parades, dock diving competitions, and so much more for you to enjoy with your furry friends and family members!

On July 7th from 6Pm to 8Pm, head over to Ceramics For You to enjoy a Taylor Swift inspired evening of creativity! Featuring Taylor Swift music, light refreshments, and a Swiftie inspired ceramics project.

Lake Fest is happening this year on July 7th from 5PM through 11PM at Island Lake. featuring a carnival, live music, a beer and wine garden, and family friendly entertainment!

On Sunday July 9th from 1PM to 2:30, head out to the Tempel Farms Summer Performance to enjoy Tempel Pipizzans and Veterans Day.

The Waukegan Public Library is hosting the Saddle Shoe Sisters for an afternoon of live music from 12PM to 1PM on July 21st.

Kids Summer Fest takes place at the Lindenhurst Park District at 2200 East Grass Lake Road in Lake Villa featuring Nanny Nikki at 6:15PM! Additional dates include July 25th and August 8th.

On July 15th from 5:30 to 10PM, “My Best Friend Tom” returns to the stage for an evening of Live Music at the Lake Bluff Brewing Company’s July Block Party!

On July 15th in Highland Park, head out to The Lot (525 Central) to enjoy the World Music and Food Fest from 12PM to 10PM. It’s a fun-filled day featuring delicious food and beverages with plenty of options from cultural cuisines around the world! There will be live music, cultural traditional dance, and ensemble music and dance groups. You won’t want to miss this!

On July 16th at Lambs Farm in Libertyville from 10AM to 3PM, car enthusiasts will have a blast to enjoy the 11th Annual Car Show Benefit. There’s free admission for visitors, and all makes/models of car are welcome.

On July 19th, head over to MainStreet Libertyville from 6Pm to 9PM for the 20th annual Car Fun on 21 classic car show featuring vintage cars, trucks, and motorcycles all along Church and Cook Streets of Downtown Libertyville!
