Kia Motors Highly Ranked Among Luxury Brands

Classic Kia, however, is happy to carry cars with attractive pricing that can fulfill that fantasy to a certain point. What’s more, a new award indicates just how satisfying Kia cars are proving for our customers.

Kia Motors pulls ahead of many popular luxury brands by placing fifth overall in a new ranking. The 2016 AutoPacific Vehicle Satisfaction Awards aren’t like typical industry measures which focus on vehicle reliability or quality. Rather, they objectively examine how satisfied an owner is with a new vehicle. Respondents grade 50 attributes that contribute to a purchase decision and satisfaction post-purchase.

Three new Kia cars receive particular distinction: the 2016 Kia Soul, the 2016 Kia Optima, and the 2016 Kia Sedona.

“AutoPacific’s Vehicle Satisfaction Awards have become an industry benchmark for measuring how satisfied owners are with their new vehicle, and we are thrilled to see the incredibly high level of satisfaction our customers are experiencing with our vehicles,” said Orth Hedrick, vice president of product planning, Kia Motors America, in a press release. “The Soul, Optima and Sedona are all expertly crafted vehicles and represent just how far the Kia brand has come.”

We’re particularly excited about the 2016 Kia Optima, especially since it’s the first time it made the list. This attractive sedan provides an impressive array of features considering its price and gives off that luxurious feel. For instance, the EX trim of the car equips LED running lights, a heated steering wheel, and leather interior finishing. That’s packaged with a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that outputs 185 horsepower and 178 lb-ft. of torque. However, the SX and SXL trims come with the upgraded, turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that revs up to 245 horsepower and 260 lb-ft. of torque.
