The 2016 Kia Rio is a Subcompact Built for Gurnee Drivers

In recent years, the subcompact class has gotten better than ever. Available as either a sedan or hatchback, all models come with a 1.6L four-cylinder engine producing 138 hp and 123 lb-ft of torque. Models can go from zero to 60 mph in 9.4 seconds, which is faster than usual for this class. Their smaller size makes these subcompacts able to achieve up to an efficient EPA-estimated 38 mpg highway.

The 2016 Kia Rio comes in three different trim levels, available in either body style. The starting 2016 Kia Rio LX comes with satellite radio, USB connectivity, and steering-wheel mounted audio controls. Models can also be equipped with Bluetooth connectivity.

Moving up to the 2016 Kia Rio EX adds on a stylish chrome grille, an adjustable steering wheel wrapped in leather, a better audio system with six speakers, nicer cloth upholstery, and a nicer interior overall. These models can also be equipped with the Eco package that gives drivers an automatic stop-start syste and a seven-inch touchscreen.

At the top is the 2016 Kia Rio SX that adds a rearview camera, a sportier suspension, sunroof, leather upholstery with heated front seats, a navigation system, and keyless ignition and entry.
