Kia Announces Changes for the 2016 Kia Soul

While it’s only August, 2016 Kia models like the 2016 Kia Sportage and the 2016 Kia Rio are already in stock at our dealership. The 2016 Kia Soul is coming soon to our Gurnee-area Kia dealership. This model continues the present generation, but does feature some changes over the current 2015 Kia Soul. While you wait, get excited about these new features and packages.

The 2016 Kia Soul now comes standard with alloy wheels, which were an added cost on last year’s model. The base wagon can also be equipped with a couple of packages. For a low cost, the Convenience package adds technology to make life easier like a 4.3-inch touchscreen, rearview camera, and satellite radio.

Want your 2016 Kia Soul to look sharp out on the road? That’s where the Designer Collection comes in. A two-tone paint job plus a red or red and black roof will really make the car pop. The alloy wheels also gain cool black spokes and the gearshift and steering wheel get wrapped in leather.

New for the higher end 2016 Kia Soul ! trim is the Premium package. This packs in a lot of features, especially advanced safety features. Forward-collision and lane-departure warning systems help to prevent crashes from happening and make driving a lot less stressful.

The 2016 Kia Soul base continues to come with a 1.6L four-cylinder engine producing 130 hp. The 2016 Kia Soul+ and 2016 Kia Soul ! models have a bigger 2.0L four-cylinder delivering 164 hp.
