The Kia Telluride is awarded IIHS Top Safety Pick+!

Kia’s Bestselling 2023 Telluride has earned the esteemed IIHS Top Safety Pick+ Aaward following the organization’s more stringent testing requirements!

Having previously won the Top Safety Pick for 2020, 2021, and 2022, The Kia Telluride has gone and done it again, folks! We’re pleased to announce that the 2023 Kia Telluride has now been awarded the IIHS Top Safety Pick+ award rating, a badge of honor which comes on the heels of more rigorous testing requirements.

This year, the crash testing process was performed with 82% more energy than previous years, and vehicles are required to earn a “good” rating to qualify for the Plus awards tier. Additionally, the vehicles are now evaluated for both nighttime and daytime vehicle-to-pedestrian front crash prevention tests; to earn a Top Safety Pick award vehicles must receive only a daytime rating of “Advanced” or “superior”.  For vehicles to achieve the Plus award tier of IIHS Top Safety Picks, they must receive “advanced or superior performance” in nighttime and daytime in that category.  The Kia Telluride received top marks in its class across all tests.

This year’s 2023 Kia Telluride has been given a total refresh inside and out, with an expanded list of tech packages, new design elements and trim packages, and the tried-and-true safety features you know and trust to keep you safe.
