2027 Kia Telluride

A First Look at the 2027 Kia Telluride

All-New Updates for a Smarter, Stronger Telluride Life around Waukegan asks more from a vehicle than most brochures admit. Roads change character with the weather. Schedules stretch across school runs, workdays, and weekends that involve gear, people, and very little patience for inefficiency. The wildly popular three-row gets its first full redesign since its 2020 debut, and the 2027 Kia Telluride steps into that moment with intention. Not to impress in a parking lot—but to hold up under the everyday math of space, traction, and power. more This model carries forward the Telluride’s reputation while sharpening the edges that matter in Illinois and Wisconsin living. The philosophy behind the update is simple: make the SUV better at the things families already rely on. More usable strength. Clearer control. Smarter systems that stay out of the way until they’re needed. That’s why the 2027 Kia Telluride feels tuned for full-size suburban life—from long grocery hauls in Libertyville to packed weekends moving between practices and plans in Gurnee. Rugged Styling That Serves a Purpose What the 2027 Kia Telluride redesign really changes The 2027 Kia Telluride redesign leans into a boxier, more upright stance, and that choice isn’t cosmetic. In places like Zion, visibility matters when snow banks narrow streets and driveways disappear overnight. A taller profile and refined AWD tuning translate directly into confidence, not commentary. This update also improves approach and departure angles, which makes winter mornings less dramatic and more predictable. Pulling out onto IL Route 131 after an overnight freeze becomes routine, not a calculated risk. The 2027 Kia Telluride performance story starts here—with control you can feel before you ever press the accelerator. The result is an SUV that looks capable because it is capable, especially for families navigating changing road conditions across IL and WL borders. Power That Moves With You Understanding the 2027 Kia Telluride performance Performance here isn’t about speed for its own sake. The 2027 Kia Telluride performance setup focuses on smooth delivery and stability under load. Power comes on cleanly, merges feel composed, and the vehicle doesn’t lose its balance when fully packed. In Grayslake, that translates into calm highway behavior even with seven passengers and cargo on board. In Antioch, it means the SUV doesn’t hesitate on uneven pavement or during sudden weather shifts. The AWD system constantly adjusts traction, so the driver doesn’t have to think about it. That’s the distinction here: performance that supports real use, not performance that demands attention. A Cabin That Lowers the Noise Floor Why the 2027 Kia Telluride interior matters The 2027 Kia Telluride interior takes a quieter approach —literally. Enhanced acoustic glass and upgraded materials reduce road and wind noise, which changes the mood inside the vehicle almost immediately. On long drives near IL Route 132, conversations don’t compete with traffic. Music sounds fuller at lower volumes. Kids in the third row don’t need to shout to be heard. This is where the Telluride separates itself: it understands that calm is a feature. Material choices are durable and thoughtful, not flashy. Surfaces hold up to daily wear, temperature changes, and real family use across Illinois suburbs. Space That Works Hard Making sense of the 2027 Kia Telluride cargo space Cargo capacity only matters when it’s usable, and the 2027 Kia Telluride cargo space is designed for flexible loading. The rear area stays square and accessible, with seats that fold cleanly and predictably. That makes weekend planning in Gurnee easier and last-minute adjustments less frustrating. Large grocery runs, sports equipment, and travel gear all fit without creative rearranging. The low lift-over height also helps when loading heavier items. For families balancing multiple schedules across Waukegan and the surrounding areas, this kind of practicality removes friction from daily routines. Towing That Feels Controlled A closer look at the 2027 Kia Telluride features for hauling Lakes and outdoor escapes define weekends in this region, and the 2027 Kia Telluride features include towing upgrades designed to support that lifestyle. Increased towing capacity pairs with dedicated Tow Mode software that stabilizes the vehicle under load. Smart camera views simplify hitching, which helps drivers who tow occasionally—not just experts. That confidence matters when planning trips from Antioch toward regional water spots in Wisconsin. This is towing that feels intuitive, steady, and well-managed, reinforcing why the 2027 Kia Telluride remains a dependable choice for active families. Technology That Reduces Steps How the 2027 Kia Telluride Technology fits into daily life The goal of the 2027 Kia Telluride Technology is to reduce the number of steps and interruptions. Digital Key 2.0 lets drivers unlock and start the vehicle using a smartphone, which comes in handy during busy errands around Libertyville. The infotainment system responds quickly and stays legible in changing light conditions, which matters during short winter days across IL. Navigation, media, and climate controls are intuitive, keeping attention where it belongs. Technology here supports momentum instead of slowing it down. Efficiency Without Compromise Real expectations for 2027 Kia Telluride MPG The 2027 Kia Telluride MPG improvements focus on consistency. Efficiency holds steady in mixed driving, even with passengers and cargo. That reliability matters during long weeks of commuting between Grayslake and nearby hubs. With its new 2.5L turbo-hybrid engine, it offers a Kia-estimated 35 MPG combined, a significant boost in fuel efficiency for the three-row SUV, paired with 329 horsepower and a 600-mile driving range, making it a powerful yet efficient option for families. Fuel usage remains predictable in colder temperatures, which helps families plan without surprises. It’s another example of how the 2027 Kia Telluride prioritizes everyday stability over headline numbers. When You Love Your Car It Loves You Back: Spring Maintenance and Service Tips for National Car Care Month!

It’s National Car Care Month, and we’re here with a few helpful tips and reminders to get your car ready for Springtime.  It’s the prime month to get your vehicle in tip-top shape and repair any issues you may have encountered over the winter months, or maintenance you ignored during the chilly weather.  Here’s our recommended service points and cleaning schedule: more Clean off the grime, muck, and salt from winter months at a professional car wash service. Washing your car at home or on your own is great, but nothing beats a professional car wash.  Having your vehicle washed, polished, waxed and details ensures that it’s well protected for all of your summer road trips and you’re ahead of the game in preventing rust and paint chipping. Plus, they’ll get all the nooks and crannies and tiny spaces that we tend to overlook on our own.  Consider having any scratches filled in as well so you don’t have to worry about rust or chipping on your travels!  This can take anywhere from a half an hour to 2 hours depending on wait times and your type of vehicle, unless you opt for a full detailing service which may be 2+ hours for the concierge service! Schedule a brake service appointment. With all the driving you’re about to do over spring break and summer vacation months, it’s important to have your brakes fully serviced.  This will include flushing out the brake lines of old fluid and replacing it with new fluid, replacing any worn or damaged brake pads, resurfacing the rotors, cleaning and adjusting the brakes system, and lubricating any parts as necessary.  If you noticed any squeaking or squealing, you should make that appointment sooner rather than later!  This will take anywhere from 1 to 4 hours on average, depending on the vehicle and how much needs to be replaced or cleaned. Perform windshield maintenance. Ensure that your wiper blades have been replaced in time for snowstorms to change over to rain and fog.  Consider applying a hydrophobic coating to your windshield to aid in visibility and reduce scratches. Get any stars or minor cracks repaired or schedule a windshield replacement service.  Refill your windshield wiper fluid or top it off. Do a tire checkup and rotation. Ensure that your car has had a proper alignment and rotate those tires to help them wear evenly. Check your tire tread depth.  Ensure the tires are properly inflated as the weather starts to warm up; check them on a regular basis as every 10 degrees in temperature change can cause the pressure to change. Swap out any winter tires with all-season or summer tires when the weather is appropriate. Got a question about car maintenance and repairs? Give our body shop a call and they’ll point you in the right direction to solve the problem!

More Budget Friendly Car Hacks

Save a few dollars on cleaning and detailing with these budget friendly cleaning tips and tricks for your vehicle! Protect your windshield from wet leaves, frost, ice and snow with a plastic tablecloth! A dollar store or budget buy plastic table cloth can save you a lot of time in the morning.  No more rushing around and then walking outside to see a frosted up window or caked on wet leaves filling you with dread.  Place the plastic tablecloth over the windshield the night before, and any time where you’ll have it parked at length.  You’ll be able to easily slide the plastic cloth off and save the time scraping and brushing by simply shaking it off.  Fold it up, place it in your trunk, and you’ll be on your merry way in no time. more Use a cereal keeper container as a lidded trash can for travel! Forget about those hanging fabric garbage cans, or putting a bin/box on the floor that rolls around as you drive.  Grab a budget friendly cereal container with a lid at your local dollar store, and line it with a plastic grocery bag. Place it in the backseat of the car and use it to store your trash while you’re on the go.  Makes cleaning easier with nothing sticky left on your floor mats or carpets or tipping over on turns. Remove dead bugs and insect splats with dryer sheets! No need to gather complicated cleansers or soaps or scrubbies to get those stuck-on nasties off your windshield or bumper.  Any brand of dryer sheet will do the trick nicely!  Rinse your car with clean water, then grab the damp dryer sheet and simply wipe them away.  Rinse with water again and you’re good to go! Remove rust with a bottle of Coca Cola and a bit of foil! This soda’s notoriously acidic properties may not be so great on your insides, but they’ll do wonders for your vehicle’s outsides.  If you’ve got rust spots on your bumper or other metallic accents on the body, consider a bottle of Coke and a piece of foil for an easy budget friendly hack.  Pour the soda on the rust spot, and gently scrub it with some aluminum foil folded over 3 to 4 times into layers.  You’ll notice the rust will begin to flake off!  Once it does, you can switch off to a gentle dish sponge.  When the rust is removed, grab some gentle soap and clean water and rinse off the sticky pop and remaining debris. Protect your cup holders from sticky mess and melted drinks with cupcake liners. Your local grocery store or dollar store probably sells multipacks of these convenient cupcake and muffin tin liners for a low price!  Place a silicone cupcake liner into the bottom of each of your cup holders, and when they get sticky or dirty you can swap them out and pop them out for clean ones, and put the dirty ones in with the dishes. Easy peasy! It’s also great for easily accessing change for tolls or vending machines or air-pumps in a jiffy. Use hand sanitizer as a budget-friendly de-icer for locks and doors! A small can of deicer is a great thing to keep in your bag, backpack, briefcase, or emergency kit, but if you’ve not got one this everyday household item will get it done!  Squirt the hand sanitizer into your lock, push the key in and out and turn it gently.  Within a few moments, the ice should be melted and you should be able to turn and open the lock!  Just use caution, this shouldn’t be a repetitive hack as the sticky cleansers can jam your locks over time and require them to be cleaned, but in an emergency or occasional pinch, it will work wonders.  You can also create your own deicer in a pinch with a spray bottle, ⅓ water, and 2/3 70% isopropyl alcohol - shake to mix well and spray into the lock or door and in a few moments it should be free of ice!
